POLYCET Results 2014

Polytechnic Common Entrance Test(POLYCET 2014) Results 2014 announced May 31st, 2014 at www.sbtetap.gov.in. The State Board of Technical Education and Training, Andhra Pradesh, Hyderabad will conduct Polytechnic Common Entrance Test (POLYCET) for the candidates seeking admission in to all Diploma Courses in Engineering / Non Engineering/Technology offered at Polytechnics / institutions (including Aided and Unaided Private Polytechnics / Institutions running as 2nd shift in Pvt. Engineering Colleges) in Andhra Pradesh State for the academic year 2014-2015.  http://dteap.nic.in, http://sbtetap.gov.in . 

7,081 candidates will appear for the Polytechnic Common Entrance Test (POLYCET) to be organised at 24 centres in Kadapa, Proddatur, and Rajampet from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on May 21. Giving a break-up, Sudhakar Reddy, POLYCET Convener and principal of Government Polytechnic, Proddatur, said 3,281 candidates would write the test at nine centres in Kadapa, 3,400 at 11 centres in Proddatur, and 400 at four centres in Rajampet.

The candidates should report at the centres by 10 a.m. and they would not be allowed to leave 1 p.m. Candidates should not use pens. They should only use the pencil, eraser, and sharpener to be supplied by the government. Quality pencils were procured for the purpose from Karnataka,  There would be two sets of question papers. One set (A) had already been despatched to the police stations under which the test centres were located.
