ECET Results 2014

The Engineering Common Entrance Test (ECET-2014) will be held on May 10 at 91 centres all over the State. As many as 52,027 students are scheduled to take the test. Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Kakinada (JNTUK) is conducting the test this year. The hall-tickets are available on the university website. JNTUK is planning to release the preliminary key on May 11 and the final key along with the results on May 19. Students can download their rank cards from the website on May 27, 2014.  




A Common Entrance Test designated in full as Engineering Common Entrance Test for Diploma Holders and for B.Sc.(Mathematics) Degree Holders and in short as ECET [FDH & B.Sc.(Mathematics)]- 2014 will be conducted by JNT University Kakinada on behalf of the Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education for the academic year 2014-2015.  




The Entrance Test is of three hours duration and Question Paper consists of total 200 questions as per scheme of entrance. All questions will be objective type (Multiple choices only). Each question carries one mark. Timings of Test are 10.00 a.m. to 01.00 p.m. on May 20th, 2014 (Monday). ECET [FDH & B.Sc.(Mathematics)]-2014 syllabus in Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and Engineering  specialization and separately for pharmacy is furnished For Diploma Holders in Annexure-I, and syllabus in Mathematics, Analytical Ability and Communicative English. 



ECET 2014  Qualifying Marks: 
The qualifying percentage marks for obtaining a rank in ECET [FDH & B.Sc.(Mathematics)]-2014 is 25% of the aggregate marks in the four subjects (three subjects for B.Sc. Mathematics) i.e., 50 marks out of a total of 200. However, in the case of SC/ST candidates, there shall be no minimum qualifying marks for ranking the candidates.The rank obtained with the benefit of relaxation of the minimum qualifying marks at the ECET [FDH & B.Sc.(Mathematics)]-2014 by any candidate claiming to belong to SC/ST category will be cancelled in case the claim is found to be invalid at the time of admission.
