APTET Answer Key 2014 TET Paper 2 Key

Andhra Pradesh Teachers Eligibility Test (APTET) key has been released and candidates can access the key at http://aptet.cgg.gov.in. The objections raised by the candidates were examined duly and disposed by the expert committee. Andhra Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test(APTET 2014) 2014 Hyderabad Answer Key Released on March 18th, 2014. The Department of School Education has formally announced that the Teacher Eligibility Test (APTET) would be held on March 16th, giving a fresh lease of life to the aspirations of thousands of unemployed youth in the State. The hall tickets can be downloaded from the website www.aptet.cgg.in. As many as 4.5 lakh aspirants have applied for the TET. The exam would be conducted from 9:30 am to 12 pm (Paper I) and 2 pm to 5 pm (Paper II). 

TET 2014 will be of MCQ mode (Objective type), each carrying one mark. There will be no negative marking. Paper I will be for aspirants who want to be a teacher for classes I to V and Paper II will be for a person who intends to be a teacher for classes VI to VIII. Those who intend to be a teacher for both levels will have to appear in both the papers.  

The APTET Paper I consists of 150 questions in which Child Development and Pedagogy, Language I, Language II, Mathematics and Environmental Studies segments will be there with each carrying 30 marks.  Similarly Paper II will also consist of 150 questions which is also of same segments except the last one i.e. Environment segment is being replaced with Social Studies.  

The APTET question paper will be bilingual i.e.English followed by the language chosen for all languages except for Sanskrit. The results will be declared in 15 days time on April 2nd, 2014. The minimum marks to be secured by each student is: OCs- 60 per cent marks and above; BCs- 50 per cent marks and above; SCs- 40 per cent marks ; STs- 40%- marks and above  and aspirants who are Differently abled (PH) – 40 per cent and above.

Twenty per cent weightage will be given to APTET scores in the ensuing teacher recruitments. The remaining 80 per cent weightage for the score in the written test i.e. DSC. Though the TET will be held on March 16, air of uncertainty continues on DSC due to uncertainty in political atmosphere. So far the State government has not given go ahead for holding of DSC. Even if it is given, either the Code of Conduct or clash of exam centres may come in the way.
